Research/Special Interests
Dr. Lowrey is interested in factors that determine and control microbial distribution and diversity. He is also interested in cytopathology and how cells respond to various stressors. His interests in the scholarship of teaching include seeking methods to help students connect abstract biological concepts to actual clinical and public health applications.
