Become a Studio Assistant
Visual Arts hires a limited number of students to assist in running and maintaining various art facilities. While providing money, these jobs also can be a valuable part of a visual arts education. Studio assistants on the Dahlonega campus may request to be assigned to the Graphic Design Studio, the Ceramics Studios, or to the Photography Darkroom.
Other assignments may include working as:
- Art gallery monitor
- Art gallery assistant
- Office and Clerical assistant
- Lecture course grading assistant
Federal Work Study and other federal and state grant and loan opportunities that are based on financial need, may be available to you. Students must determine their eligibility through the Financial Aid Office.
Deadlines to apply for federal and state aid programs vary, but they are generally during spring semester for the following school year. Check early!
