Residence Life Staff

Resident Assistants (RAs) are undergraduate students who live on each floor of the residence halls. Their responsibilities are to provide support, facilitate personal growth and community development, provide educational and social programs, interpret policy, communicate important information, and give assistance or refer residents to someone who can assist them.

Resident Directors (RDs) are full-time professional or graduate live-in staff in each of the major residence halls. They supervise RAs and the overall operation of the residence hall.  They are available to assist in conflict resolution, to communicate information, to offer perspective, and to interpret university policies.

The Assistant Director of Residence Life is responsible for training, assessment, technology, and assisting with the overall housing and residence life operation.

The Director of Residence Life is responsible for the overall housing and residence life operation, including staffing, training, programming, policies, maintenance, room assignments, and discipline.

The Residence Life Office is located in Stewart 361. Any issues of concern regarding housing and residence life that cannot be resolved with the assistance of the RA or Resident Director may be taken to the Director of Residence Life to be discussed and resolved or appropriately referred.  The office is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. —5:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or on the designated University schedule.
