Professional Licensure and Certification Information for Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

The University of North Georgia offers degree programs that meet the educational requirements students need to apply for professional licensure or certification in Georgia. The programs may not meet the education requirements for licensure or certification in other jurisdictions.

Students who plan to pursue professional licensure should contact the program coordinator and appropriate licensing entity for additional information and guidance.

Professional Licensure or Certification Disclosure

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Upon completion of the program, University of North Georgia graduates will have satisfied all educational requirements and be eligible to sit for the NCLEX exam. After passing the NCLEX, graduates can submit credentials to a state nursing board for licensure in the state they intend to legally reside and/or practice.
