The Department of Modern Languages currently offers programs in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese.

Language is how we communicate. It is how we express ourselves to others. Learning a second language broadens that ability to communicate and has become a vital skill in our interconnected global world. It deepens our understanding of other countries and their cultures.

Not only does learning a second language increase your interpersonal and analytical skills, it opens the doors to many career opportunities that may take you across the globe.
