Overview
Dr. T. J. Gabriel is an associate professor of management in the Mike Cottrell College of Business and was named an Anderson Professor recipient for 2014-16 for his achievements in classroom instruction, research and service in 2014. During his academic career, he has received a number of honors and awards for his efforts in academic research, service learning and teaching. He served as the Graduate Committee chair in the Mike Cottrell College of Business.
In 2010, Dr. Gabriel, as well as Dr. Mark Jordan, professor of management in the Mike Cottrell College of Business, received the outstanding paper award from the Literati Network Awards for Excellence for their research article entitled ""Journey to the Center: Core Leadership Philosophy."

Work Experience
Dr. Gabriel has been a faculty member at the University of North Georgia since 2004. Prior to his career at 正澳门六合彩开奖结果, he served as a graduate teaching assistant - instructor at Clemson University and an adjunct instructor at Palm Beach Atlantic College in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Before he began his career in education, Dr. Gabriel served in various industrial and operational roles in the southeastern United States.
Special Project, Carolina Circuits, Greenville, SC, 1999-2001
Assisted in implementing a simulation program for daily production scheduling in a printed circuit board manufacturing operation. Automated the weekly quality reporting for engineering department using advance database programming. Worked on other engineering projects as required.
Project Manager, C-MAC Packaging Systems, W. Palm Beach, Florida, 1998-1999
Managed new product introduction of sheet metal and electronic assembly products and sub-components. Interacted with internal and external product designers in DFM efforts. Coordinated delivery of components for prototype and first manufacturing run. Supervised prototype department personnel.
Operations Manager, C-MAC Packaging Systems, W. Palm Beach, Florida, 1996-1998
Directed the relocation and start-up of newly acquired electronics assembly operation, including facility layout and personnel selection. Managed daily operations of electronic assembly and sheet metal fabrication. Spearheaded the effort to attain ISO9002 certification in less than 14 months after start-up.
