Interdisciplinary Concentration
To meet the needs of students with special career or educational goals in mind, students may select other directed electives offered by IESA or a related program.
Generally, students who select this interdisciplinary focus have multiple interests and combine significant coursework from related focus areas to create a customized plan of study to meet a career path or prerequisites for a graduate degree program. Students wishing to pursue an interdisciplinary focus must with either Dr. Jamie Mitchem or Dr. Katayoun Mobasher to develop a customized plan of study.
Any courses taken outside of IESA program offerings at the 3000-4000 level must be approved by IESA Director, Dr. Jeff Turk, at least two semesters prior to graduation. Advisors will forward student requests for an interdisciplinary plan of study to the director for approval.
