Land Surveying Certificate
This certificate strives to meet the demand for highly skilled and educated land surveying technicians in Georgia. Georgia is listed within the top five states for this occupation according to the Department of Labor 2016 Occupational Handbook with a predicted growth in employment in the next decade. Three specialized courses provide all the training one needs to begin working in this field. To enhance employability factors even more, IESA recommends that students also complete the Fundamentals in Geospatial Technology Certificate. Courses in the Land Surveying Technician Certificate may be applied towards directed or free electives in the Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Spatial Analysis at the University of North Georgia.
