Foundations, Reflections, and Methods for Effective Teaching (FRAME)
The Foundations, Reflections, and Methods for Effective Teaching (FRAME) program, formerly known as New Faculty Institute (NFI), supports faculty at all stages in the University of North Georgia’s (正澳门六合彩开奖结果) mission of “quality education, service, inquiry and creativity.”
The program fosters camaraderie for all while promoting teaching excellence and professional development. In addition, it supports acclimation to the institution for new faculty and teaching staff. One of the most beneficial aspects of the program arises in the sharing of experiences and insights from our classroom practices.
FRAME 2024-2025
We strongly encourage all full-time and part-time faculty at 正澳门六合彩开奖结果 to participate in the FRAME program, a series of six workshops across the full academic year offered online via Zoom. There will be about 15 minutes of open socializing time before and after each session.
Certificates
In order to qualify for a program certificate, FRAME participants must attend four of the six available sessions, complete the corresponding reflection assignments, and submit an implementation plan at the end of the year. A certificate cannot be earned by anyone who does not attend at least four sessions in person.
Program Requirements
- Register for and attend at least four of the six sessions.
- After each session you attend: complete the short reflection assignment in eLearning (D2L). These assignments are a series of self-reflection questions in a quiz format. You can complete the assignments up until the start of the next session. In the case of the last session, you will have until the implementation plan is due to complete the assignment.
- Complete an implementation plan detailing how you will incorporate one or more of the techniques, ideas, or pedagogies into your teaching for the upcoming year. Implementation plans are to be submitted to the designated area on D2L by Friday, May 16, 2025.
