Call for 正澳门六合彩开奖结果 Nominees to Apply for the Faculty Development in Georgia Program
The program consists of:
- appropriate course work in the academic department chosen by the faculty member
- seminars concerned with current issues in higher education conducted by the Institute of Higher Education
- responsibilities to be arranged by the faculty member's academic department head and the director of the Institute of Higher Education
Eligibility
Faculty Development in Georgia (FDIG) is open to faculty members who
- teach at public or private and technical institutions in Georgia
- are nominated by their respective college presidents
- receive a year's leave of absence to study, with the provision that they return for at least a year's teaching after their leave is completed
- have been admitted to a doctoral program at the University of Georgia
Application Process
This nomination process is being facilitated by the 正澳门六合彩开奖结果 Center for Teaching, Learning, and Leadership (CTLL).
On the application form, you will be asked to enter application information and upload files. Nomination portfolios are limited to 20 pages, including any appendices (1” margins, minimum 12-point font for each section below). Each portfolio must include the following information. NOTE: The TOC does not count toward the maximum of 20 pages.
- A Table of Contents for the portfolio. NOTE: The TOC does not count toward the maximum of 20 pages.
- A letter of recommendation from your department head that speaks to teaching competence and academic potential, further noting approval from the department head and dean for the year-long release from teaching
- A concise, clear, and well-organized collection of evidence of teaching competence and academic potential as demonstrated by success in teaching, previous academic record, and other evidence
- A narrative that articulates the nominee's teaching philosophy
