2019 International Education Week
The purpose of International Education Week is to promote cultural activities at the University of North Georgia. The Center for Global Engagement collaborates with academic departments and student groups so that we are putting on a week of cultural activities for global learning for both students, staff, faculty, and the community. People can learn listening, writing, speaking, reading in a different language in their own country. However, what they can't learn is the culture. I'm hoping to be a Foreign Service officer within the Department of State. The study abroad experience that I had is preparing me for that career. One of the events during International Education Week is the Passport Caravan hosted by the Council for International Education Exchange, which is also known as CIEE.
