Darryl Jordan
Overview
Prior to his employment with the University of North Georgia, Darryl has over two decades experience as a ship board audio technician. As a freelance AV production technician he’s worked events for several fortune five hundred companies, and has worked with a wide range of musical artist from the Wu Tang Clan to Charlie Daniels. Darryl had been a special appointed process server for the Franklin County court system of Columbus, Ohio prior to beginning a career mixing heavy metal concerts.
Darryl was born into a military family in Bitburg, Germany and began playing guitar on Okinawa at an early age before relocating to Ohio. He began his career in higher education at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Georgia in 2017. From there, Darryl moved to Dahlonega in August 2019 after accepting the position at the University of North Georgia in November 2018.
Darryl’s interest are varied but enjoys family, fine dining, playing and writing / producing musical arrangements.
