Suzanne Applegate, RN, MSN, CHSE
Overview
Ms. Applegate has been in nursing education for more than 20 years. She has actively enhanced her teaching over the last 8 years by developing expertise in simulation. In 2015, she became a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). Her practice experience has been primarily in cardiac critical care and post-anesthesia care. She has years of experience on curricular committees and developed the simulation content for an accelerated BSN program. Ms. Applegate has presented at local and international conferences related to nursing and interdisciplinary simulation (IPE). She currently serves as the simulation coordinator and enjoys teaching undergraduate nursing students in innovative ways.
