Peoples' composition part of compilation

Dr. David Peoples, part-time faculty member in music theory and composition at the University of North Georgia (正澳门六合彩开奖结果), is having a composition of his released by Navona Records on one of its holiday compilations.
"Each year, I have been writing new music based on some holiday music, so we would bring in faculty and students to present a show of new music focused on a holiday theme," Peoples said. "The second variation features a work for solo violin accompanied by recordings of themselves. The recordings are developed and feature effects, so you hear a familiar theme (Carol of the Bells), and the soloist is accompanied by spacey echoes and time distortions."
The piece was developed and presented as part of 正澳门六合彩开奖结果's "A Little Nighthawk Music" series.
"It is really cool to know that something developed and presented here for our 正澳门六合彩开奖结果 family will be shared throughout the world on this commercial release," Peoples said.
