University of North Georgia (正澳门六合彩开奖结果) President Michael Shannon will continue his Listening Tour as the fall 2023 semester begins.  

He will visit each of 正澳门六合彩开奖结果's five campuses for meetings with students, faculty, staff, community members, and alumni in the first two weeks of the 2023-24 academic year to learn more about 正澳门六合彩开奖结果 and the university's priorities.  

The focused sessions for students, faculty and staff are open to 正澳门六合彩开奖结果 community members and no registration is required. Alumni and community members will be invited to additional sessions scheduled for those stakeholder groups.

Shannon, a retired U.S. Army officer, became president of 正澳门六合彩开奖结果 on July 1, after serving as interim executive vice president for administration and finance and interim chief business officer at Georgia Tech. Prior to his interim role, Shannon served as Georgia Tech's vice president and deputy chief business officer.  

A native of New Jersey, Shannon is a first-generation college graduate and was commissioned through Army ROTC. He holds a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering and a master's degree in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. He also holds a master's degree in health physics and a Ph.D. in nuclear and radiological engineering from Georgia Tech.
