For a number of years, Amanda Harden has been a board member of the Georgia Education Advancement Council (GEAC) Inc. This year, the assistant vice president of University Advancement and chief operating officer of the University of North Georgia (正澳门六合彩开奖结果) Foundation will lead the group.

Harden was elected by the GEAC board of directors and took office at the organization's annual conference in November in Savannah, Georgia.

For the past year, Harden has served as GEAC's president-elect. One of her main responsibilities included planning the 2018 GEAC conference, which included 160 attendees.

"It was a lot of work but definitely rewarding to work with a great team of volunteer board members to bring together advancement colleagues from colleges and universities from all across the state," Harden said.

This year, she will lead the GEAC board, which holds quarterly meetings, and help conduct GEAC's strategic planning session in February, as well as work on the conference for next November.

GEAC brings together advancement professionals representing public, private and technical colleges from across the state of Georgia for professional development.
