"I have been extremely impressed by the faculty, staff and students with whom I've interacted thus far, and am looking forward to becoming an active member of the Watkinsville community in order to build upon the excellent work already being done at Õý°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û's Oconee Campus."

Moore has an extensive record of experience working with higher education governing bodies on a state level, and with state lawmakers. She also has worked with multiple community partners.

"Dr. Moore has a strong background in developing and sustaining effective relationships with community stakeholders, and I know that she'll find a welcoming community in Oconee County that is dedicated and loyal in its support of higher education," Oates said.

Moore has a Doctor of Education degree in higher education leadership policy from Vanderbilt University, a Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Virginia.
