What did you like best about the 正澳门六合彩开奖结果 McNair program?

The absolutely most helpful part of my McNair experience was the mentorship. That dedicated time with my mentor was pivotal to my even believing I COULD pull this off. I knew so little about grad school, my mentor helped fill knowledge gaps I didn’t know I had.

What do you wish you knew before you started grad school?

My first year was amazing, all the random interactions of convenience after classes or randomly in the hall with other grads, professors, or visiting lecturers. However, that has largely been absent due to limitations like online classes.

What difficulties have you faced in Grad school?

My largest difficulties in grad school have centered on my being a non-traditional student. I have a spouse in poor health, two children in school, and a mortgage. I work outside of school to pay the bills, and that leaves much less time to work on a thesis. I commute 3-4 hours total each day that I go to campus, since housing in ATL for a family is so expensive. It’s… challenging.
