Overview

A Georgia native, Carlton joined the University of North Georgia in May 2018. Prior to his current assignment, his professional experiences have included time in radio and television, corrections and the judicial system, and housing. Carlton began his professional career in higher education as the Academic, Career, and Internship Advisor at Aurora University in Aurora, IL. He is passionately committed to the principles of lifelong learning and servant leadership. Recreationally and socially, Carlton can be found hiking, in church, in the kitchen, watching sports, spending time with family and friends, and/or in the movies.
